I was born in Mombasa, Kenya and have a degree in Fine Art from Winchester School of Art in Hampshire, England. Since 1993 I have lived in Budapest, Hungary.
Over the past ten years I have produced illustrations for magazines such as Cosmopolitan, FHM and Playboy. I have also done many illustrations for newspapers like The Budapest Week and The Cairo Times and for a number of books.
Using the city and people as inspiration I like to build real or imaginary narratives into his images, whether they be in a café, bar or railway station but usually with an emphasis on the humorous.
Another part of my work is the landscapes and cityscapes done while on travels to Africa, the Middle-East and Asia. Most of these works have been painted in situ and have inspired my use of colour and ideas for bigger and more planned pictures such as my animal designs.
During the same period, on a larger scale, I have made sets for theatre productions as well as sculpture/furniture for interiors. I regularly exhibit my work in Budapest as well as in Africa and the UK.
